Jan Francke studied macroeconomics at Erasmus University Rotterdam, specialising in transport and regional economics. Jan has more than 25 years experience in policy research and advice on travel and transport issues in both the private and public sectors. His primary field of research is analysing past, present and future trends in freight transport and evaluating policy and investment options using transportation models and cost-benefit analyses.
