Taede Tillema studied civil engineering and management at the University of Twente and obtained his doctorate from Utrecht University on the effects of pricing policy in travel and transport. Taede is an all-round researcher with experience in the fields of accessibility, pricing policy and behavioural effects resulting from developments in ICT (smartphone, internet). He has also done research in infrastructure planning. Since 2018 Taede also is professor by special appointment in Transport Geography at the Univeristy of Groningen (Department of Economic Geography).
