Serge van Dam studied public administration in Leiden and the US. He worked as a consultant at EY and was co-founder and owner of Lysias Consulting Group. Among other things, he helped set up the National Road Traffic Data Portal (NDW) and introduce electric driving in the Netherlands. From 2016, Serge served as top advisor on traffic management at Rijkswaterstaat on the future of road traffic, including leading the collective of top advisors, leading a European working group of road authorities and helping set up a European association under Horizon. Since September 2024, Serge is serving as director of KiM.
