Stefan Bakker holds an MSc degree in Environmental Science from the Radboud University Nijmegen. He worked with the Energy research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN) focusing on national and international climate policy in various sectors including transport. Stefan also worked with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit in Thailand. As an independent consultant he supported and led a range of projects on sustainable mobility and climate change. Stefan obtained his PhD from the University of Twente, on the topic of low-carbon transport policy in Southeast Asia. At KiM he focuses on climate change and sustainability in various mobility sectors.
