Broad reconsideration of mobility scenarios? Memorandum on the relationship between current mobility developments and WLO future scenarios (Dutch)

Over the past three years, trends in the areas of population growth, the economy and spatial planning give no cause to adapt the WLO scenarios, with the only exception to this being the developments in oil prices.
KiM reached this conclusion in a quick scan conducted at the request of the Mobility and Water working group, which is one of the 20 working groups on Broad Reconsiderations that advised the Dutch government on potential savings in public spending. This quick scan studied whether new developments could lead to other mobility needs than those predicted in most long-term scenarios. In addition, the quick scan also included any potential consequences these developments would have for the policy goals outlined in the Mobility Report and the Mobility Approach.
