Mobility and the coronavirus crisis

A significant part of the Dutch expect their travel behaviour and work situation to change permanently due to the coronavirus crisis. A quarter of people who are working (more) from home and a third of people who meet remotely more often expect to continue to do so in the future. One in five Dutch people also think that they will walk or cycle more often. This is evident from the study 'Mobility and the coronavirus crisis' by the Netherlands Institute for Transport Policy Analysis (KiM).

This report contains a summary of the main findings. The full brochure with more elaborated study findings is available in Dutch only.
